This design started out so shiny & happy and then took a darker, more complex look at our perceptions of design, art and events and how they are altered over time. The colour pallet brings us back to the 70’s where complimentary 3 tone was all the rage. By placing it on the lush grey backdrop we presented it in a modern new light. The text is derived from Lance Armstrong’s 2005 victory speech that he gave on the Champs Elysees. It’s a look at how these positive messages were perceived at the time, during the backlash against him and how they might possibly be viewed in the future. This bike was proudly displayed on the Enve composites stand at Eurobike 2016.
